Vimba.lv — an online shop for fishing tackle
A fishing and outdoor shop built from scratch: catalogue in three languages, accounts, stock that cannot oversell, and an admin panel the owner runs alone. Currently in preparation for launch — payments are the last piece.

The client's task
A tackle shop selling in person, with the whole range living in the owner's head and a spreadsheet. Going online meant more than a catalogue page: stock had to stay honest across the counter and the site, customers in Latvia read in three different languages, and whoever ran it afterwards would not be a developer.
Our solution
A shop of over two hundred items across ten categories, in Latvian, Russian and English. Stock is written down at the moment payment confirms, inside the same database operation that checks it — two people buying the last reel cannot both succeed. Customer accounts verify by e-mail, promo codes claim their use atomically, and invoices generate as PDFs. The owner runs everything from an admin panel: products, prices, stock, orders, exports to Excel. Its entrance is on a secret path, and it can be locked behind an authenticator app; the login is rate-limited per address and per account. The catalogue splits by season before it splits by category — summer and winter tackle are different shops to the same customer.
